I chose this design because I love what the ying yang symbolizes brightness and determination. I chose to make the words "ying" and "yang" bigger and cursive to put more emphasis on it. I had the most trouble carving the details around the sun and one thing I learned from this was to carve something with less small detail next time.
I chose to use this bridge because it's a very visual part of Davenport. And I also live in Davenport. A geofilter is a filter for a certain place you are in.If i had to change some things I would add yellow to the lights and change the font to something more interesting. I like how it actually looks like a bridge and the colors I used.
My inspiration was my dog George which is a golden lab. For my technique I did some parts lighter and darker than others so you can tell the different parts of the face from one another. My favorite part of this is the nose because it looked the most realistic and if I could change something I would maybe do whiskers or other small details to make it more realistic.
